#Thailand#Nakhon Pathom#Bang Len#Attraction It was constructed in 1903 on the bank of Tha Chin River. In the west, it was the wooden row houses facing each other from the front to the back of the market, about 130 chambers in total. In the past, Chinese people migrated here and formed the community to make a trade, thus, Talad Bon was constructed. When the community expanded, Talad Lang and Talad Klang were organized respectively. Talad Kao was one of the important marine trade centers in Bang Lane District because there was the pier that was convenient for shipment and transport to Bangkok. However, when the time changed and technology played more roles, roads were constructed and more cars were used. For this reason, the marine trade was dull, however, the trade of people at Bang Luang was continued. Currently, the market remains the old atmosphere in terms of way of life, trading pattern, tradition and culture which is the combination between Thai and Chinese, in order to promote the heritage tourism in Bang Luang. Besides, there are many things at this market reflecting the old day lifestyle, such as the theater of 16mm. and 35 mm. projector with the benches in the rows, the old dentist clinic with the tools and equipment functioning with the paddle, the photo shop that uses the ancient camera, and the old opium house which only the sign remains on the door.
The community establishes the museum as the information center to display the old tools and objects such as old bike and horn. The cart is available for tourist to tour around the market. Moreover, there are Baan Tee Lek (forging house) where people exchanged their stuff for steel forging, and the ancient house with the old well in the house to store water for utility and for the case of fire. Everything is the story of the past that tourist can experience. There is also the hanging bridge which people can cross to worship Thap Thim Shrine, where the skull of elephant and crocodile were found.
